Sara is the mom. She’s a therapist, photographer, bibliophile, and grammar nerd.

Alex is the dad. He loves all things ocean-related, especially seafood and sailboats.

Afton is 4 and loves making art, performing, and chatting with all the neighbors.

Jonas is a happy 7-month-old who loves to bouncing and getting kisses from his big sister.

We love to travel and explore new places (far and near!)

What’s a typical weekend consist of for your family?    

Waffles for breakfast, maybe a trip to the farmer’s market or park, church on Sunday.

Do you have a family ritual or tradition? If so, what is it?             

We love talking a walk down our street to the duck pond almost every evening.

Have you taken a family vacation? If so, what’s your favorite memory from that vacation?

We love vacations! Our first one as a family of four was an annual trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina with all Alex’s extended family. A recent favorite for Sara and Alex was a hot air balloon ride in the desert of Morocco two years ago.

What’s your greatest “family goal”?
