Now is the time that I start wrapping up portraits for 2018 High School Seniors and begin shooting sessions for 2019 High School Seniors!

I’m positive I’ve already mentioned this before, but senior portraits are my absolute favorite sessions!!! There’s something extra about all the excitement, the youthfulness, and energy that transpires during senior sessions. It’s always a new adventure and a new story with each senior; but one thing remains the same… it’s always tons of fun and we have lots of laughs.

There’s a process to my senior casuals and throughout the process, I get the privilege to learn a little about each senior. My favorite is hearing what ambitions and plans she has after graduation!!

Part of the process includes an initial meeting/pre-consultation in which we discuss looks, locations, moods, etc. Then, continuous text or calls helping her pick out outfits to compliment her look and her portraits. Then, of course, there’s the photoshoot. During the photoshoot I make sure each senior showcases her personality and her beauty.

I take care of all the technical stuff! The senior’s only responsibility is to have fun!! I continuously coach her where to stand/sit, how to position, and when to smile/smize/gaze. The result… beautiful portraits that don’t look award.

Even after the photoshoot, I’m still there to assist seniors (and parents) by helping them purchase professional print products such as canvases, metal wall art, photo books, and grad cards. It’s an extra – and completely optional – service I offer to all my clients.

I really love what I do and all the friends I get to make in the process!!!
