My turkey is in the smoker and my sweet potato casserole is in the oven.  It smells like Thanksgiving in here; but looking at these adorable portraits, it feels more like Christmas.  I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t help but hum a little “Jingle Bells” and feel the holiday cheer as I scroll through the Murray family’s portrait session.  I know… there’s no snow on the ground but there is a sandy beach; and for me, that’s even better!  ((spoken like a true southern girl I know))

This sweet family is a military family who recently moved here from Texas.  So, when we were planning on where to take their family portraits, the beach was the must have location.  The mommy wanted to add a little extra Christmas flare, so she brought along about six large Target bags filled with all this awesome Christmas decor.  I was so thrilled with my fellow shopaholic.  Little Finnley was in love with that snowman!  He was just too adorable!  If only he had a magic hat!

I could not be more happy with the turnout.  This family is more than adorable enough on their own even without the added decor.  Seriously, I’m dying over the squishy-cheek kissing picture!!!  Like, I want that to be “MY” Christmas card! LOL.  Just kidding, Kerra and Patrick, I wouldn’t do that.

And y’all…. as if this picture perfect family weren’t already cute enough, they’re expecting a baby girl!!  You can barely notice Kerra’s sweet little baby bump as she walks along the beach.  So exciting!  This year’s holidays as a family of three; and next year’s holidays as a family of four!
