What college do you attend?

I attend the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. I am currently student teaching here on the Gulf Coast!

When do you graduate?

I graduate on Friday, December 13th! WOOHOOO!!!

What is your major?

My major is Elementary Education with an emphasis in K-8 mathematics

Do you participate in any extracurricular activities? Are you a part of any clubs/organizations?

I am in Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society for Elementary Education Majors.

What has been your favorite part of college?

My favorite part of college is move in (I served as part of the welcoming/orientation committee for two years – GEWW Crew) and football season!

What has been your least favorite part of college?

My least favorite part of college was the general ed classes before starting major coursework. Such a bore.

What is your best college memory?

My best college memory is meeting my best friend and living across the hall from her in Hillcrest! Shout out to rooms 302 and 303.

What is your DREAM job (realistic or not)?

My dream job is to be United States Secretary of Education.

What are your plans after graduation?

I have a job in one of the best school districts here on the coast!

What advice can you offer to those who will soon be starting college?

Enjoy it! It goes by SO FAST.

1) I have run every red light in Hattiesburg, MS. (Not on purpose though) 2) I love grilled cheese sandwiches. 3) I love naps.
