Q&A’s with Maddie:

What college will you be attending? Why did you choose that college? Were you surprised to get accepted?
I will be attending the University of Southern Mississippi! When I first visited I fell in love with the campus, it felt like home. I wasn’t surprised to get accepted but I was a little nervous because it took a while to get my letter in the mail 😂

Has your major and career choice changed? What are they?
I have always wanted to do nursing!

What are you most excited about starting college?
I’m excited to start over and meet new people! I am also excited to be roommates with one of my best friends Chloe.

What are you most nervous about starting college?
I am definitely nervous about all the classes!

What do you think is going to be the BIGGEST change / adjustment with graduating high school and starting college?
The biggest change will be being away from my parents! They do so much for me I don’t know how I will be without them!

Do you have a graduation trip planned? If so, tell me about it.
CANCUN!!! Me and my mom, and my close friends and their families are all going for a couple days, I’m super excited!

Is there anything you will miss about high school? If so, what is it?
I will miss my friends that aren’t going to Southern with me the most and my old cheer team!

What are you most excited to say goodbye to (about high school)?
Dress code😂 I can’t wait to wake up and wear nike shorts to class!

I will forever cherish my time spent at D’Iberville and all the memories I made!!! Once a warrior always a warrior 💛🖤
