Photographing children is a delicate mix of chaos, silliness, chasing, and goofy jokes; or at least it is for me.  The little ones are always their own directors!  Especially ones with strong personalities – like this little five year old, Jenelle.  Shyness was no problem during her session!  She wanted to do anything and everything but take a “pretty” picture.  I couldn’t count the number silly faces and acrobatics she put on for me.  She was reluctant, but I think we got some photos her mama can be proud of.  I mean really… look at that first picture.  You can see just how hard she’s trying NOT to smile.  Lol.  It just happens to be my favorite one of the session.  Here are a few of my other favs too.
