Mommy and daddy with a little help from our families.

How &/or why did you decide on your baby’s name?

We loved the name Stella and Elise is mom’s great grandfathers name.

If there are older siblings, how did they react to the news of a baby brother/sister?

They are both really excited! Big sister Anniston is extremely excited! She’s been wanting a sister!

Planned

How did you share the news with the daddy?

Nothing special

How did you share the news with extended family and friends that you were expecting?

We announced on St Patrick’s Day to our family with Weston wearing a shirt that said, “Lucky Me! I’m a Big Brother to be!”

Did you have a gender reveal? If so, briefly tell me about it.

We did the raw egg gender reveal with our family! We had one dozen of eggs: 11 boiled, 1 raw. The eggs were dyed either pink or blue. We took turns smashing eggs on forehead! The raw egg revealed the gender was a GIRL! We announced to everyone else while we were in Disney World!!

I haven’t had any pregnancy food cravings.

I was able to teach group fitness classes until 31 weeks!

Summer heat is NO JOKE while pregnant!!

What are you most nervous about for the baby’s arrival?

It’s only natural to worry about the health and wellness of mom and baby during delivery. I just pray for a safe and healthy delivery for the both of us.

What are you most excited about for the baby’s arrival?             

Watching Anniston and Weston welcome a new baby sister!!
